10 Minute Chili Garlic Oil Noodles, The Viral Recipe

Chili garlic oil noodles, the ultimate comfort food with a spicy twist.

If you’ve been on social media lately, you’ve probably seen these spicy chili garlic oil noodles popping up everywhere. And it’s no surprise- they’re quick, easy, and packed with flavour. Perfect for busy days, late-night cravings, or when you just want something new and delicious.

After watching a few videos, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. This was ready in just a matter 0f minutes & tasted absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
  • Instant noodles, cooked
Add to the bowl
  • Green onions, chopped- 2 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced- 1 tbsp
  • Dried chili flakes- 1 tsp
  • Chili powder- ½ tsp
  • Soy sauce, low-sodium- 3 tbsp
  • Brown sugar- ½ tsp
  • Cheese, grated- ¼ cup
For heating oil
  • Neutral tasting oil- 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil- 1 tbsp
  • Butter- 2 tbsp
For topping
  • Green onions, chopped- 1 tbsp
  • Over easy egg
Instructions
  1. Cook the Instant noodles in boiling water till the noodles has turned soft, don't overcook it.
  2. Drain the water & keep it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients mentioned above 'add to the bowl'.
  4. Using a fork combine well.
  5. Place a small frying pan over medium heat, add the neutral tasting oil- use canola or sunflower oil & add the sesame oil.
  6. Let the oil come to a slight boil & add butter.
  7. Let the butter melt & let the oil turn very hot & sizzle.
  8. Take the pan off the heat & immediately pour the oil & melted butter over the ingredients in the bowl.
  9. Combine well.
  10. Add the cooked noodles & give it a nice toss.
  11. Serve on a plate, top with chopped green onions & dried chili flakes.
  12. I also topped the noodles with over easy egg.
  13. Enjoy the noodles right away.
