Peanut butter stuffed chocolate-covered dates are a sweet and delicious treat that combines the flavors of peanut butter, chocolate, and dates. The process of making them involves stuffing pitted dates with peanut butter and then coating them in melted chocolate.
Dates are a natural sweetener that also provides fiber, minerals, and vitamins. Peanut butter, made from ground peanuts, is a rich source of protein, healthy fats, and various vitamins and minerals.
To make this healthy you can use dark chocolate. Dark chocolate, when consumed in moderation has been linked to various health benefits, including improved heart health and cognitive function.
To make peanut butter stuffed chocolate covered dates, you will need pitted dates, peanut butter, and melted chocolate. Begin by cutting the dates lengthwise to create a small pocket, and then fill each date with a small amount of peanut butter. Next, dip each date in melted chocolate, ensuring that it is completely coated. I also coated it with crushed pistachios & desiccated coconut.
Finally, place the dates on a plate lined with parchment paper, and let them chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
