Ingredients
- Mutton - ½ kg
- Ginger + Garlic Paste - ½ tsp
- Cardamom - 3
- Cinnamon - small piece
- Cloves - 3
- Onion - 1
- Potatoes - 2 cubed
- Salt to taste
- Oil
To grind
- Coconut - ½ grated
- Cloves - 3
- Poppy seeds - ½ tsp
Marination
- Shallot - 5 (ground)
- Ginger + Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Curd beaten - 1 cup
- Green chilies slit - 8
- Salt
Instructions
- Marinate mutton in ginger + garlic paste, shallot paste, salt, ground coconut masala, curd and green chilies for one hour.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.
- Then add onion and ginger + garlic paste.
- Add the marinated mutton and add necessary water for the gravy.
- Adjust salt.
- Add potatoes and allow to cook.
- Serve with ghee rice or parotta
