Hence I had to find a different way to make myself like hot dogs. Now, this is how I eat hot dogs, after mixing it with mixed beans or chick peas and seasoned with some spices. This way I can enjoy the taste of hot dogs along with other flavors. This recipe is basically the same as making chana masala, here I&#8217;ve used hot dogs and mixed beans\u00a0instead\u00a0of chick peas. If you are a pure vegetarian, you could just use chick peas or mixed beans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;ve also tried making\u00a0omelette using hot dogs, it kind of worked for me. But for my husband, it has been always grilled hot dogs!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hot dogs and Mixed Beans Masala<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7782\" tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Cumin seeds- 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Bay leaves- 2<\/li>\n<li>Onion, chopped- 1 large<\/li>\n<li>Ginger-Garlic paste- 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Green chilies, chopped- 2<\/li>\n<li>Tomatoes, chopped- 2<\/li>\n<li>Cumin powder- 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chili powder- 3\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder- 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder- 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Water- 1\/2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice- 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Cilantro, chopped- 1 handful<\/li>\n<li>Salt- to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the hot dogs into 2 inch pieces and keep aside.<img (max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Rinse the canned beans or chick peas under running water.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a saucepan over medium heat, add oil.<\/li>\n<li>To the oil, add cumin seeds and bay leaves, let cumin seeds turn light brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add onions, salt and saute till onions turn tender.<\/li>\n<li>Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies to the onion, saute for sometime.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomatoes and let it get mashed.<\/li>\n<li>Now, add cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala and coriander powder, combine everything well.<\/li>\n<li>Add hot
