The dessert features a filling of pistachio cream and crispy kunafa pastry, encased in a chocolate shell. This has become a viral sensation on TikTok, with countless videos showcasing its unique preparation and delectable taste. Many people have been inspired by these viral videos to try making the dessert themselves. I couldn&#8217;t resist myself, it&#8217;s not available in any of the stores in my city hence I had to give it a try.<\/p>\n<p>The viral recipe called for just 3 main ingredients: kunafa or knafeh pastry dough, pistachio butter &amp; good quality chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>I was able to find frozen kunafa pastry dough at the Middle Eastern store, got pistachios &amp; chocolate. Got home &amp; I was all set to make the chocolate bar, I was super thrilled.<\/p>\n<p>I started with toasting the pastry until it becomes golden and crispy. Then, I blended it with the pistachio butter to create a filling. Layered this filling into chocolate molds, added an additional chocolate layer on top, and place it in the freezer to set.<\/p>\n<p>Took the first bite &amp; I went Mmm&#8230;Absolutely delicious, the crunchy pastry along with the creamy nutty pistachio butter &amp; unsalted- 2 cups<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Milk Chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<div class=\"ERSeparator\">[b]For making 1 chocolate bar[\/b]<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I bought the kunafa pastry dough from the Middle Eastern store, it was frozen.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Defrost the frozen pastry, roughly shred the pastry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">For making 1 chocolate bar, 2 cups shredded kunafa pastry will be good enough.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a saucepan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp butter, let melt.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the shredded kunafa pastry, roast over medium heat till the pastry turns golden in color, it will turn super crispy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Keep stirring to avoid the pasty from turning brown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Take the pan off the heat &amp; let cool down.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 2 cups shelled pistachios to a blender jar &amp; grind to fine powder.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 2 to 3 tbsp melted butter &amp; grind again, pistachio will turn into a smooth paste like butter.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the pistachio butter to the roasted kunafa pastry &amp; combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Use good quality chocolate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I melted the chocolate in the microwave.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat for 2 to 3 minutes till the chocolate has melted, take the bowl every 30 seconds mix well &amp; again microwave.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I&#8217;ve used a chocolate mold for making the bar.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Pour some melted chocolate as the first layer on the mold &amp;
