As a shrimp fanatic, I love adding shrimp to most of my stir fries. This dish is a delightful and perfect one-pot meal that combines tender shrimp with flavorful rice noodles and a variety of fresh vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>To enhance the aroma and taste, I always include a few key ingredients like pure sesame oil, fresh basil leaves, ginger, and garlic. shelled- 15 to 20<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Soy sauce, low-sodium- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Hoisin sauce- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Sambal Oelek or chili paste- 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ERSeparator\">[b]For Stir Fry[\/b]<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Sesame oil- 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Garlic, chopped- 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Ginger, chopped- 1\/2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Fresh basil leaves- 10 leaves<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Mixed veggies- 1 1\/2 cups (carrot, corn, beans, peas)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Red pepper, diced- 1<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Yellow pepper, diced- 1 (or use green pepper)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Rice noodles, cooked<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Soy sauce, low-sodium- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Hoisin sauce- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Dark soy sauce- 1\/2 tbsp (optional)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Sesame oil- 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Green onions, chopped- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Cilantro, chopped- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Take shrimp in a bowl, add soy sauce, hoisin sauce &amp; sambal oelek, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I&#8217;ve added thin rice noodles, you can also add wheat or chow mein noodles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook the thin rice noodles in hot water till they turn slightly soft, don&#8217;t over cook the noodles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Strain the water &amp; add 1 tsp sesame oil to the noodles to prevent them from sticking &amp; keep it aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a large wok over medium heat, add sesame oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add ginger, garlic, stir fry for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add fresh basil leaves, stir fry for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add mixed veggies, any of your favourite veggies can be added- cabbage, green pepper, etc.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir fry for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the marinated shrimp, stir fry till shrimp has almost cooked.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I&#8217;ve also added red &amp; yellow pepper, stir fry for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the cooked noodles, stir fry over high heat for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the sauces: soy sauce, hoisin sauce &amp; dark soy sauce if adding.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir fry over high heat for a couple of minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Finally, I like to add 2 tsp sesame oil, this will enhance the aroma &amp; flavour of the noodle stir fry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir fry for a minute.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Garnish with chopped green onions &amp; cilantro.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Take the wok off the heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Serve on a plate &amp;
