After coming home cooking brunch &amp; lunch from scratch is not feasible, hence I do a lot of prep work the previous night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here is my Eid brunch menu:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mutton Curry<\/li>\n<li>Lamb Chops<\/li>\n<li>Palaada- Paper Thin Rice Crepes<\/li>\n<li>Enna Pathiri- Fried Rice Roti<\/li>\n<li>Kinnathappam- Steamed Rice Cake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prep work done on the previous day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I made mutton curry, lamb chops &amp; kinnathappam the previous day &amp; kept them in the refrigerator. Rinse well in water.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the lamb chops to a large bowl, add all the above mentioned &#8216;for marination&#8217; ingredients, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let marinate for an hour.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I pressure cooked the lamb chops in the Instant Pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the marinated lamb chops along with 1\/2 cup water to the stainless steel pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Close with the lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Select high pressure &amp; set the time to 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After pressure cooking, do a quick pressure release.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">If you don&#8217;t have an Instant Pot, you can pressure cook in a regular pressure cooker.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After pressure cooking, I pan fried the lamb chops in a cast iron skillet.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a cast iron skillet over medium heat, add coconut oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the pressure cooked lamb chops.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the lamb chops.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Pan fry till both the sides have turned slightly brown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Take the lamb chops off the pan &amp; transfer to a plate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After pressure cooking, there will. be some liquid left in the Instant Pot, you can make a gravy with this flavourful liquid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Turn on the saute setting, let the liquid come to a slight boil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add cornstarch slurry- combine 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water, add to the liquid &amp; let thicken.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer the gravy to a bowl.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">While serving the lamb chops, pour some gravy over it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"endeasyrecipe\" style=\"display: none;\">3.5.3251<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/thasneen.com\/cooking\/instant-palaada-with-rice-flour-paper-thin-rice-crepe-south-indian-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instant Palaada Or Paper Thin Rice Crepe Recipe, Click Here<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The batter can be made the previous night &amp; keep it in the refrigerator. The next day, the kinnathappam can turn slightly firm.
