It&#8217;s particularly well-known in various parts of India, as well as in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Ragi is rich in nutrients and offers numerous health benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High in Protein<\/li>\n<li>Rich in Dietary Fiber<\/li>\n<li>Calcium and Iron<\/li>\n<li>Antioxidants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Appam is a popular dish in Kerala made with rice &amp; coconut. Making appam with ragi flour sounded interesting &amp; is definitely a healthy alternative to rice appam.<\/p>\n<p>The appam turned out awesome, with crispy edges &amp; soft center.
