This is one of my favorite curries with okra, okra cooked in coconut milk. Select saute setting, temperature should be medium or normal.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add oil, dried bay leaf; saute for a minute.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add onion, ginger-garlic paste &amp; season with 1\/2 tsp salt. Saute for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add tomato, close the pot with a glass kid &amp; cook for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add okra, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 1\/4 cup water, combine well. Close the pot with the glass lid &amp; cook till okra turns soft.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Do not overcook the okra, will turn mushy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add all the spices- chili, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala &amp; 1\/2 tsp salt.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add thin coconut milk 1 1\/2 cups, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">If the coconut milk is thick, add some water to thin it down.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook for 2 minutes till coconut milk comes to a slight boil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Don&#8217;t have to cook longer after adding coconut milk.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Take the stainless steel pot out of the main pot &amp; keep it covered.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Serve in a bowl &amp; enjoy with rice, chapati or roti.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"endeasyrecipe\" style=\"display: none;\">3.5.3251<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Delicious okra curry cooked in the Instant Pot&#8230; Easy to make vegetarian korma with okra or lady&#8217;s finger.
