Grind to a smooth paste.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a pan over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add oil for shallow frying fish.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the marinated fish, shallow fry the fish till both sides have turned golden in color.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer to a plate &amp; keep aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Strain the oil used for frying oil to remove the brown particles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a wide pan over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the oil used for frying fish.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add cumin seeds &amp; green chili, saute till cumin seeds turn light brown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Pour the ground onion-tomato mixture.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Rinse blender jar with 1\/2 cup water, add that to the pan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine well, cook covered for 10 to 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a bowl, combine all the spices &#8216;for making the spice mix&#8217;, add 2 tbsp water to make into a smooth paste.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Open the lid, add the spice mix to the sauce. Combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook till the gravy thickens &amp; the raw smell of onion goes away.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 1 cup warm water.
