Keep aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the iron kadai over medium heat, add oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add garlic &amp; ginger; saute for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add onion, season with 1\/2 tsp salt.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Saute till translucent.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes till tomatoes turn slightly mushy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove the kadai from the heat, let cool down.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer to a blender jar, puree to a smooth paste. Keep aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Clean the iron kadai well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add butter, add dried bay leaf &amp; dried fenugreek leaves; saute for a few seconds.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add diced onion, season with salt.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri chili powder &amp; roasted ground spice mix. Combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the pureed onion-tomato sauce.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 1 tsp salt, mix well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cover with a lid &amp; cook for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the diced boneless chicken or add bone-in chicken pieces, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cook covered for 20 minutes.
