Let marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In the Instant Pot- select Saute setting, medium or normal temperature.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let the stainless steel pot turn hot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add ghee, add sliced onions, season with salt.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Saute for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add cashew nuts, roast for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine the nuts with the onions, cook till onions turn light golden in color.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Do not brown the onion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove the pot from the main pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer the onions &amp; cashew nut to a blender jar, add 1 cup warm water, and puree till smooth.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Keep aside the pureed onion-cashew nut.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Clean the stainless steel pot well and place it on the main pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 1 tbsp ghee, let melt. (Pot is still hot so no need to turn on the saute setting).<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add whole cardamoms &amp; dried bay leaf.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the pureed onion-cashew nuts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Rinse the blender jar with 1\/2 cup water, add that to the pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the marinated chicken, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Close the pot with the lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Select Pressure cook setting, set time to 15 minutes, at high pressure.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After 15 minutes of pressure cooking, do a quick pressure release.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Open the lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine well the cooked cashew chicken.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add coconut milk.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Select Saute setting at medium temp.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let cook for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add garam masala and salt if required. Combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">If you need more heat, add black ground pepper.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add chopped cilantro.
