I made an awesome ground beef sauce in the IP and then layered the lasagna sheets, ricotta cheese filling, ground beef sauce &amp; cheese. There will be some liquid in the pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add tomato paste or tomato sauce, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">The pot is still hot hence cooking in saute mode is not required.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">It should be a thick sauce not too watery.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Keep aside the sauce.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Instead of ground beef sauce, you can also add pasta\/pizza or lasagna sauce.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Into a bowl, add all the ingredients for making ricotta cheese filling. Keep aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"ERSeparator\">[b]Layering the Lasagna[\/b]<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I&#8217;ve used 6-quart Instant Pot, in that 7-inch springform pan fits well into the stainless steel pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Line a parchment paper on the springform pan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">First layer: I&#8217;ve used oven-ready lasagna sheets, cut into smaller pieces. Layer with small cut lasagna sheets.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Second layer: spread with ground beef sauce.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Third layer: spread with half of the ricotta cheese filling.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Fourth layer: spread with cheddar cheese.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Repeat these layers- 2 can make 2 or 3 sets of these layers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Topmost layer should be cheddar cheese.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Close the springform pan with aluminum foil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 1 cup water into the stainless steel pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a trivet on the water.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the springform pan on the trivet.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Close with the lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Select pressure cook setting, [b]set time to 30 minutes at high pressure.[\/b]<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After 30 minutes of pressure cooking, do a quick pressure release.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Open the lid.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Wear a mitten and remove the springform pan from the pot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove the aluminum foil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">[b] To BROIL:[\/b] To make the cheese golden and crispy, we need to broil the lasagna in the oven.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Turn on the Broil setting in the oven to High.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let the coil turn red hot.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the springform pan on the topmost rack, let broil for 5 minutes or till cheese turns golden &amp; crispy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">I kept the oven door slightly open, keep an eye on the lasagna if you leave unattended the cheese will turn brown and burn.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">As soon as the cheese has turned light golden brown, take the pan out of the oven.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let cool down for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Run a knife through the sides of the springform pan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove the top part of the pan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Using a sharp knife, cut into wedges.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Since we have cut the pasta sheets into smaller pieces, that beautiful layers will be missing.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Forget about the layers, tastes absolutely delicious.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"endeasyrecipe\" style=\"display: none;\">3.5.3251<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Best tasting Lasagna made in the Instant Pot&#8230; Yes, you can make delicious lasagna in the Instant Pot.
