This is a no yeast &amp; egg recipe and can be made without much effort.<\/p>\n<p>The dough has to be kneaded well till soft and smooth, for at least 5 minutes. Cover the dough with a damp cloth so that it won&#8217;t dry off and allow the dough to rest for an hour. I&#8217;ve added total 1\/2 cup water.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">For making soft bhaturas, water can be replaced with milk.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Knead well for 5 to 10 minutes till the dough turns soft and smooth. Kneading the dough is very important.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cover the dough with a damp cloth. Else, the dough will turn hard.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let proof for an hour. Don&#8217;t skip this step.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">After an hour, knead the dough well, divide into medium sized balls.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Grease a wooden board or clean surface with ghee or oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the dough ball and flatten the dough using a rolling pin to a round or oval shape.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a frying plan over high heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add enough oil for deep frying.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let oil turn hot, very important oil has to be hot for bhatura to puff up.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Drop the flattened dough to the oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Fry for a few seconds.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Gently press the edges using a slotted spoon. The dough will start to puff up. (Watch my cooking video)<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Let the bottom side turn golden in color.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Flip it over and let the other side cook and turn golden in color.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Repeat with other dough balls.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">You will be able to make 6 to 7 bhaturas.
