Eid is a time of celebration, family gatherings, and, of course, delicious food!<\/p>\n

No Eid feast is complete without a fragrant and flavorful biryani, a dish that holds a special place in the hearts of food lovers.<\/p>\n

The magic of Eid biryani lies in its layers: perfectly cooked, fragrant basmati or jeerakasala rice infused with saffron, tender meat, simmered in a blend of spices, and the finishing touch of caramelized onions, nuts, and fresh herbs. Every bite is an explosion of flavours, making it a dish worth savouring.<\/p>\n

In this blog post, I\u2019ll be sharing some of my favourite Eid biryani recipes that I’ve tried over the years.<\/p>\n

Biryani can be made with chicken, mutton (goat), and lamb; though fish and beef are not typically used for Eid biryani. In India, biryani varies widely, with each state having its own unique version. When I think of biryani, the three that stand out to me are My Mom’s biryani, Hyderabadi biryani, and Thalassery biryani.<\/p>\n
