The cutlet mix can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for a month. Stir fry the chicken till it turns light brown, you can add 1 tbsp of oil if you prefer and stir fry.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">If you are using beef or mutton, cook the meat mixed with the spices in a pressure cooker along with 1\/4 cup water until 3 to 4 whistles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Shred the meat using your clean hand.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place a large pan or wok over medium heat, add oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add onions, season with 1\/2 tsp salt and saute till translucent.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies and garam masala, saute for a few minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Now add the cooked and shredded chicken or meat, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the boiled, mashed potatoes and mix everything well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Have a taste, if you need more salt or seasonings you could add accordingly.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Finally, add cilantro, combine well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove the pan from the heat, let the mixture cool down.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Make medium-sized balls out of this mixture, flatten it between the palm of your hands, keep aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">The chicken filling can be made well in advance &amp; stored in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for up to a month.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"ERSeparator\">[b]Frying the cutlets[\/b]<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a bowl, crack the eggs &amp; beat well using a fork or whisk.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spread the bread crumbs on a plate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Dip each cutlet in the egg first and then evenly coat it with the bread crumbs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Deep fry the cutlets in oil until golden brown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">You can also shallow fry the cutlets in less oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">The outside will turn crispy &amp; tastes delicious.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Serve warm along with tomato ketchup or any of your favorite dipping sauces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ERNotesHeader\">Notes<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNotes\">[b]Tips[\/b][br][br]The cutlet mix coated with the bread crumbs can be made ahead of time and can be kept in the freezer for a month. [br]Thaw well and fry the cutlets.
