Prep. time): 2 Hr.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To cook chicken<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chicken Breast &#8211; 1 Lb. (1\/2 Kg.) boneless cut into small cubes<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric Powder &#8211; 1\/2 Tsp.<\/li>\n<li>Black Pepper Powder &#8211; 1 Tsp.<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; a few pinches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For making chicken filling<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carrot &#8211; 1 (medium sized &#8211; peeled and shredded)<\/li>\n<li>Red onions &#8211; 1 (medium size &#8211; sliced\/diced to very small pieces)<\/li>\n<li>Ginger-Garlic Paste &#8211; 1 Tbsp.<\/li>\n<li>Green Chili &#8211; 2 (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Red Chili Powder &#8211; 1 Tsp. (add more if you need it extra spicy)<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric Powder &#8211; 1\/4 Tsp.<\/li>\n<li>Black pepper powder &#8211; 1 Tsp.<\/li>\n<li>Coriander Powder &#8211; 1\/2 Tsp.<\/li>\n<li>Garam Masala &#8211; a pinch<\/li>\n<li>Lime Juice &#8211; squeezed from 1 half of a Lime<\/li>\n<li>Coriander Leaves<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To make Batter<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All-purpose flour &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Egg &#8211; 1<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; a pinch<\/li>\n<li>Water &#8211; 1 1\/4 cup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg whites &#8211; from 2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>Bread crumbs: 4 cups<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; enough to fry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine the chicken\u00a0along with turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Cook covered in a\u00a0saucepan and cook till chicken has cooked well.<\/li>\n<li>Let cool down and shred the chicken. Keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a sauce pan, add carrots and\u00a0saut\u00e9\u00a0for 2 minutes until it&#8217;s cooked (make sure not to overcook and get it crispy). Keep\u00a0aside the cooked carrots.<\/li>\n<li>In a sauce pan, heat 2 tbsp. of oil. Add onions, a pinch of salt and saut\u00e9 the onions till its transparent.<\/li>\n<li>Add the chopped chilies and ginger garlic paste and saut\u00e9 for 2 mins.<\/li>\n<li>Add all powders: red chili powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala\u00a0and saut\u00e9 till it\u2019s cooked (for 2 mins.)<br \/>\n7. Add shredded chicken and cooked carrots into the pan and mix it well.<br \/>\n8. Add the lime juice, chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves to the pan. Mix well and keep the pan covered on low flame for about 5\u00a0mins. This will help integrate all the flavors together.<br \/>\n9. Remove the pan from the flame and let cool for about 10 mins.<br \/>\n10. In a blender, grind flour, egg, salt and water together\u00a0to make pancake batter. It should have a running consistency with no lumps, but not too thin.<br \/>\n11. Heat a non-stick pan and make thin pancakes of about 8 inch diameter using the batter.<br \/>\n12. Once all the pancakes are done, place one pancake at a time on a flat surface and add 2 heap tbsp. of the chicken mix and fold it as shown below picture. This is the actual fun part. Beat egg whites in a bowl and also have the bread crumbs ready on a plate.<br \/>\n14. Dip the rolls one at a time into the egg whites and coat it evenly all over with egg white. Transfer the rolls to the bread crumbs plate and coat it evenly with bread crumbs and set aside.<br \/>\n<strong>Tips:<\/strong> keep the bowl with egg whites and the plate with bread crumbs close to each other. Use both your hands &#8211; one hand to coat with egg whites and the other to coat with bread crumbs. This way the egg whites will not accidentally fall on the bread crumbs and form lumps.<br \/>\n13. On a frying pan, heat enough oil to shallow fry the rolls till it\u2019s nicely brown on all sides.
