When something tastes blant, I just add a few splash of soy sauce and it instantly turns flavorful. Being a stir fry enthusiastic, I tend to make stir fries often. One of the veggies that I love to have in my stir fries is pepper. If I have different colored peppers in one dish, I am visually and mentally satisfied. It’s just amazing how different colored peppers have different personalities and impart distinct taste, just like fraternal twins.

Mixed peppers when combined with fish tasted delicious and this has turned into one of my favorite dishes.

Fish and Mixed Pepper stir fry

Ingredients

For marinating fish

Perch fish fillet- 6 fillet, cut into 3 inch slices (use any other fish or even shrimp)

Soy sauce, low sodium- 1 tbsp

Rice vinegar- 1 tbsp

Cornstarch- 2 tbsp

For cooking fish:

Oil- 1 tbsp

Ginger- 1inch, chopped

Garlic- 3 cloves, chopped

Red Thai chilies or use dry red chili-3, split

For stir frying

Oil- 1 tbsp

Shallots, large cut long- 5

Red pepper, cut into wedges-2

Green pepper, cut into wedges-1

Yellow pepper, cut into wedges-1

Soy sauce- 1 1/2 tbsp

Ground pepper- 1/4 tsp or as needed

Black sesame seeds- 2 tbsp

Green onions, chopped- 2 stalk

Cilantro, chopped- 2 handful

Instruction

You could use any kind of fish cut into thick slices or cubes.
