I had \u00a0a bag of tilapia fillet in my freezer, hence it was my pick of the night. I love to store fish fillets in my freezer as I don&#8217;t have to spend much time cleaning or cutting the fish and in no time a healthy meal can be prepared. Last night, I made this baked cumin tilapia, I love the smokey flavor of the cumin. There is nothing fancy about this dish, it&#8217;s a simple, humble and a healthy dish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baked Cumin Tilapia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serves: 2 people<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tilapia- 3 large fillets<\/li>\n<li>Ground cumin- 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ground pepper- 1 tsp (or according to your needs)<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil- 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt- to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 F.<\/li>\n<li>Spread ground cumin, ground pepper and salt over the tilapia.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle with olive oil.<\/li>\n<li>Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease it with non-stick cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Place the tilapia on it.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10217\" title=\"marinated tilapia\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thasneen.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/marinated-tilapia.jpg\" width=\"475\" height=\"317\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thasneen.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/marinated-tilapia.jpg 475w, https:\/\/thasneen.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/marinated-tilapia-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thasneen.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/marinated-tilapia-84x55.jpg 84w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Bake for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the oven and using a flat spatula gently slide the baked tilapia to a serving plate.
