Ironically, sweet potatoes don&#8217;t increase our blood sugar compared to regular potatoes which is low in fiber and increases our blood sugar. They have high content of antioxidants and fiber. If you are someone wanting to loose weight include sweet potatoes into your diet, carotenoids present in it helps to stabilize blood sugar level and to lower insulin resistance. Sweet potatoes come in different colors: white skin, purple skin, orange skin etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sweet potatoes when cooked will become more sweet and will make a delicious dessert.
