Baked Ground Beef and Mushroom Patties
- Ground beef, extra lean- 1 lb
- Green onions, chopped small- 3 stalks (or add 1 chopped onion)
- Mushrooms, chopped- 1 cup
- Ground Cumin- 1 tsp
- Ground pepper- ½ tsp
- Soy sauce, low sodium- 1 tbsp
- Oregano leaves- 1 tsp
- Salt- a few pinches
- In a large bowl combine all the above mentioned ingredients.
- Make medium sized patties out of it, keep aside.
- Pre heat oven to 400 F.
- Spray the baking sheet lined with aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the patties on the baking sheet.
- Bake for total 20 to 25 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, flip the patties to the other side.
- Bake till it has turned light golden in color.
- Don't bake for too long as it will turn hard and crispy.
- Serve with salad, burger, wrap it in pita bread/tortilla or just have it like that.
