Salt- 1½ tsp
White vinegar- 1 tbsp
Water- ½ tbsp
Instructions
I've taken whole sea bass, any fish of your choice can be used like sea bream, pomfret, sardines, mackerel, king fish, etc. You can also cut the fish into large pieces.
If using whole fish, remove all the internal organs & gills, clean the fish well & rinse under running water.
Using a knife, score the fish or put some lined on the fish.
To a blender jar, add all the ingredients mentioned 'for making marinade' & grind to a smooth paste.
Spread the marinade all over the fish.
Let marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Place a frying pan over medium heat, add coconut oil.
Place the marinated fish & add curry leaves.
Fry the fish, flip over & fry till both the sides have turned golden brown.
Transfer to a plate.
Enjoy this fish fry with rice.
The marinated fish can also be grilled.
