Kerala Seafood Chatti Choru - Lunch Served In A Clay Pan

- Grated coconut- ½ cup
- Green chili- 1
- Raw mango, diced- ½ of a mango
- Ginger- 1-inch slice
- Small onion- 1 or ½ of a large shallot
- Kashmiri chili powder- ½ tsp
- Salt- 1 tsp
- To a blender jar, add all the above mentioned ingredients, add very little water & grind to a coarse paste.
- Traditionally, chammanthi is ground in a stone grinder or ammikallu.
- This can be enjoyed with rice.
- If you don't have raw mango, 1-inch slice tamarind can be added.
