Ingredients
  • Oranges- 3
  • Turmeric root- 2-inch slice, peeled
  • Fresh ginger root- 2-inch slice, peeled
  • Lemon juice- 3 tbsp
  • Water- 1 cup
  • Ground black pepper- a few pinches/shot
Instructions
  1. I made a small batch, for making a large batch double or triple the recipe.
  2. Any kind of orange can be used.
  3. Use fresh turmeric root & ginger, peel off the skin.
  4. To a blender jar, add the orange segments, turmeric root, ginger & freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  5. Add 1 cup water, don't add a lot of water.
  6. Blend everything well.
  7. Strain the juice to a pitcher.
  8. This is a concentrated juice, don't dilute the juice.
  9. Pour into shot glasses.
  10. Just before having this shot, add a few pinches of ground black pepper.
  11. Ground black pepper will activate the Curcumin in the turmeric.
  12. It's good to have this shot in the morning, enjoy.
  13. Any leftover shots can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
