Serves: 10 Meatballs
- Ground beef- ½ lb or ¼ kg
- Garlic, grated- 2 cloves
- Onion, chopped- ¼ cup
- Red pepper, chopped- ¼ cup
- Green pepper, chopped- ¼ cup
- Ground cumin- 1 tsp
- Paprika- ½ tsp
- Dried Oregano- 1 tsp
- Chili powder- ½ tsp (optional)
- Salt- ¾ tsp
- Breadcrumbs or cornflake crumbs- ½ cup
- Tomato sauce- 400 ml
- Ground cumin- ½ tsp
- Paprika- ½ tsp
- Dried oregano- ½ tsp
- Salt- ½ tsp
- Cilantro or parsley chopped- ¼ cup
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for making the meatballs. Combine well.
- If you want to make chicken meatballs, add ground chicken instead of ground beef.
- Make into medium-sized balls.
- With this recipe, you'll be able to make 10 meatballs. You can double or triple the recipe accordingly.
- These meatballs can be prepared well in advance & kept in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for a few weeks.
- To the stainless steel pot, add all the ingredients for making the sauce, combine well.
- Drop the meatballs into the sauce.
- Close the pot with the lid.
- Select pressure cook setting, set the time to 5 minutes at high pressure.
- After 5 minutes of pressure cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes & then do a quick pressure release.
- Open the lid.
- Meatballs will be perfectly cooked & the sauce will be flavorful & aromatic.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.
- Enjoy with spaghetti, any kind of pasta or even with rice.
