Super Easy Trifle Recipe | Custard Bread Cream Trifle | No Bake

- Custard powder- 2 tbsp
- Cold milk- ½ cup
- Milk- 2 cups
- Sugar- ½ cup
- Bread slices- 8 slices
- Cold Heavy whipping cream- 2 cups
- Powdered sugar- 2 tbsp
- Candied dried fruits
- Chopped nuts
- Pistachios
- Melted chocolate
- In a small bowl, combine custard powder with ½ cup cold milk, combine well without any lumps. Keep aside.
- Place a saucepan over medium heat, add milk & sugar.
- Combine well, let the sugar dissolve in milk.
- Let the milk come to a slight boil.
- Add the dissolved custard powder in milk.
- Keep stirring, cook for a few minutes.
- Let the milk thicken.
- Remove the pan from the heat, let the custard pudding cool down.
- In a large bowl, add the heavy whipping cream along with powdered sugar.
- Using an electric hand mixer, whip at high speed till soft peaks have formed.
- Remove the brown sides from the bread, cut the slices into diagonal shapes.
- On a 8-inch square dish, spread some custard pudding.
- Arrange 4 bread slices cut into diagonal shapes on the custard.
- Spread some custard over the bread.
- Again, layer with 4 bread slices cut into diagonal shapes.
- Pour the remaining custard pudding, spread evenly.
- Top with candied dried fruits, nuts & drizzle melted chocolate.
- Spread whipped cream, using a spatula evenly spread the cream.
- Top with candied dried fruits, nuts & drizzle melted chocolate.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or longer or overnight the better.
- Cut into square shapes & serve on dessert plates.
- Enjoy this decadent & creamy trifle. YUM!
