Brown Rice made in Instant Pot

- Brown Rice, rinsed- 2 cups
- Water- 2 cups (for softer rice use 2½ cups)
- Salt- ¼ tsp
- Add water and rinsed brown rice along with salt into the pot.
- Close the lid, make sure pressure valve is set to sealed position.
- Click Manual and set pressure to high pressure.
- Set time to 22 minutes (by clicking + or - button)
- After 22 minutes of cooking, you will hear the beep. Click cancel to turn it off.
- Do a quick pressure release by turning the valve to venting: be careful as the steam is very hot.
- After the pressure has completely released, open the lid.
- Fluff the rice with a spoon or fork.
- Serve warm with your favorite curries or along with baked chicken/fish, roasted veggies etc.
- Note: 1 : 1- water to rice ratio will cook the rice al dente. For softer rice, add ½ cup more water.
