How to replace egg with Flax seeds- Flax Seed Egg Replacer

- Freshly Ground Flax seeds- 1 tbsp
- Water- 3 tbsp
- Always use fresh flax seeds.
- Ground 1 tbsp flax seeds in a coffee grinder.
- Measure 1 tbsp of ground flax seeds, add that to a small bowl.
- Add 3 tbsp water, combine well and let stand for 15 minutes to thicken.
- Now, use this instead of 1 egg in your baking- cake, cookies, muffin etc
- However, if the recipe calls for whipping egg, flax seeds cannot be used as it won't whip well.
- Increase the amount accordingly if the recipe calls for more eggs.
