Oats, Strawberry and Yogurt Parfait

Serves: 1 glass
- Instant oats- ½ cup
- Water- ½ cup
- Flavored yogurt- 5 tbsp
- Crushed digestive biscuits or cookies- 2
- Strawberries, chopped small- 3
- Apple, chopped- 1
- Maple syrup or honey- 1 tbsp
- Almonds or nuts of your choice- 3
- In a bowl, combine instant oats with water. Microwave for 2 minutes or cook in a saucepan over stove pot for a few minutes till it's cooked well.
- In a tall glass, it can be a wine glass or dessert glass; spread 2 tbsp flavored yogurt as the first layer.
- Top yogurt with some crushed biscuits or cookies.
- Spread half of the cooked oats as the second layer.
- Top with fruits, drizzle with ½ tbsp maple syrup, or honey.
- Add crushed nuts.
- Repeat this and make 2 or 3 layers.
- On the top: add fruits, drizzle with maple syrup.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- This makes a perfect breakfast or brunch.
- You'll scream parfait!!!
